The working principle of the moulding machine is similar to that of the injector for injection. It uses the thrust of the screw (or plunger) to inject the plasticized melted plastic (i.e. viscous flow) into the closed die cavity and solidify it to obtain the process of the product.

Injection molding is a cyclic process, each cycle includes: quantitative feeding - melting plasticization - pressing injection - filling cooling - opening parts. After removing the plastic parts, the mould is closed again for the next cycle.
